ASCENT FIRST AID

Ascent First Aid is a regulated first aid training organisation that delivers specialised group courses.

Ascent First Aid has now delivered specific training of outdoor courses for D of E providers, expedition companies, forestry workers, schools, and ecological consultancies. Sports courses for colleges and clubs, including staff, students, coaches, and players. Work place first aid for office based companies to clubs and bars.

For the time being the lead trainer, Luke, along with his wife Katie, are out travelling the world gaining new insights and experiences. The aim is to bring these new insights and experiences back with them and implement them into their work. Due to this no new courses will be booked for the time being.

Outdoor First Aid

Outdoor

The Outdoor First Aid course is great for anyone looking to gain a environment specific first aid course. Suitable for anyone looking for a 16 hour Outdoor First Aid course to supplement their NGB award such as ML or BCU; those who enjoy the outdoors and are looking to gain confidence in first aid; schools looking to update teachers who take part in expeditions and/or the D of E award scheme. This course can be specialised to meet your groups personal requirements.

One of our more popular courses, Ascent First Aid delivers a 4 hour Basic Life Support Course for students who are undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh’s award, be it bronze, silver or gold. 

2 Day Sports First Aid

Sports First Aid Training

This is a great course if you have an education group or a sports club looking to develop first aid for sports in a pitch-side environment. This course offers qualifications in First Aid for Sports Exercise and Fitness as well as a qualification in the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator. A main aim of this course is to also place learners in sport specific scenarios.
